Girl's Dresden Plate Quilt in Anchorage, AK

This quilt was another favorite of mine as a child & has been well laundered, used & is frayed around the edges. The light pink cotton back is worn & torn away on one of the short ends. However, the front of this Dresden is in excellent condition. It has a pink & yellow flower print "path", a white cotton background for the plates & is very pleasing to the eyes. Some of the material in the plates may be flour sack material that my Mammaw had left over from the Depression Era. It measures 48" x 33". Such a wonderful quilt to add to a display collection!
